Sports Betting Champ – Don’t lose your money!

My Sports Betting Champ Story

These are my experiences, Click Here to visit The Sports Betting Champ website.

This is not an official review. This just happens to be my experiences with the Sports Betting Champ system. I was referred to this system by a friend of mine that is also very knowledgeable with sports and sports betting. He told me about a sports betting system created by a PhD statistician named John Morrison. I checked out the site and wrote him back and said that was a good prank because a 90+% win rate is not possible. (I know people that make a living from sports betting and only have a 60 to 70% win rates) He emailed me back saying he had secretly been using this new sports betting system and had been winning more that he had in the past 7 years of betting on sports. He explained to me that a normal betting system making straight bets can't win at rates above 60-70% but John Morrison's systems uses progressive betting. With progressive betting win rates of 90+% are attainable. I was still very skeptical even with my trusted friend's endorsement. I checked out the site and saw many professional athletes also endorsing John Morrison's sports betting service. So I jumped in.

That was six months ago and I am happy that I ended up listening to my friend. Don’t get me wrong this is not the perfect system and it does have its flaws. So, if you would rather only read about the good points of the sports betting champ than you should just stop reading now. If you want to hear about the good and bad points I have experienced while using this system continue reading...

Sports Betting Champ: The Bad

-Can't bet on every game.
-Can't deviate or change the system (this is good and bad).

You can’t bet on every game and this can be frustrating. With my normal sports betting system I am able to choose any game and figure the percentages for any game. With the The Sports Betting Champ you can not bet on every game you might want to. I came to realize this is because you get quality over quantity. While this can be a pain, I learned it serves a purpose. It is smarter to bet on 40 games that are statistical favorites to win (80-90% chance of winning) instead of betting on 100 games that have a narrow chance to win (60-70% chance of winning).

That fact that you cannot deviate annoyed me because I have learned my own methods when it comes to betting. I went into the system thinking that I would just incorporate this system with my old system and everything would work out great. Not so much... I quickly learned that you can not deviate from the system. (This can be great if you have little to no previous sports betting experience) The good news is if someone as stubborn as me can learn to follow the system exactly so can anyone.

Sports Betting Champ: The Good

-I have won more money with this system than any other way of betting. (This is the only good point that matters to me)

My win rate is 91%. This just short of what Jon claims on his site, but I was only getting a 60% win rate with the sports betting system I had been using the last 5 years, and I was still making a profit at 60+%. I took a small amount out of my bank roll to use for testing this system(around $100.) This last month I have used this system to make $759. The amount that I win each month has grown steadily as my bankroll has grow. My first month I started with a small bankroll and only made around $100. Each month my winnings have doubled or sometimes tripled. – Sports Betting Champ

Sports Betting Champ Update - 2/18/11

- After receiving many hateful emails from people that have not actually tried The Sports Betting Champ I wanted to share my results after using this system for over a year (about a year and a half actually). Starting with a small $100 bankroll over a year ago, I still am amazed at how well this system has worked. Here is a screen shot of my sports book from back in November. I have been very happy using Jon's system, and wanted to write a little about a typical person using The Sports Betting Champ.

Sports Betting Advice

Sports Betting Advice

In my first post I covered some of the most Sports Betting Advice a novice would need. After writing the post I realized a few more tips I wanted to post before moving on to a different topic. If you have already read the first post, sports betting advice #4 should be considered tied with #1 due to its importance in sports betting.

Sports Betting Advice #4 (also #1)– Remember that Betting on Sports is Still Gambling

No matter how much you are enjoying winning or hating loosing remember that you are still gambling! This might seem obvious to most people but so many people become caught up in winning (and trying to make more) or losing (and trying to win back money) they get tunnel vision and forget that they are gambling. People forget they are gambling when they refuse to look at it as something that can be risky and that you must keep control of. Many people that start getting into sports betting will learn just enough information to make them dangerous to themselves and then start looking at joining a sports betting website. If you jump in like this without a plan and little self control you will be doomed before you even get started.

Sports Betting Tip #5 – Research Your Teams

Books must keep up with every game in every sport. This may not be relevant to a beginner that just bets with friends but the same hold true for beginners or those a little more advanced. The books have to keep up with everything in sports so this does not allow them to become an expert in any area. Most people that casually bet are similar in that they try to keep up with a lot of sports news and facts and never become an expert in a smaller area. This can include learning everything about a handful of teams to becoming an expert in a smaller conference. This can become an exceptional tool when betting against others that just know basic facts about sports.

Sports Betting Advice #6 – Bet for the Underdog (when at home)

This last bit is not really sports betting advice and should not be taken as sports info gospel. This is just one of my favorite tips I loved when I was a beginner. There are not any facts to back this up but underdog teams play with more heart at home and find ways to cover the spread better than many other times.

Sports Betting – The Basics

The Basics for Sports Betting

If you are just starting, these tips from sports betting champ will help and provide some basic insight.

Everyone has different reasons for betting on sports. Some people like to bet on their favorite team and some people place bets to make games more interesting or exciting. The main reason people bet is obviously simple… They do it to win money. Very few people are actually good at making consistent money even if they think they have some sports betting system that they swear by. Do not worry. It is possible to make at least some extra spending money from sports betting (Some people are capable of regularly beating the house and make a decent income). If they can make an income you can (at least) learn to make some extra spending money!

Do not fall into the group people that bet on sports without getting some basic information.

Tip #1 – Good Money Management

This is the most important tip when it comes to sports betting (also the one most people ignore). Everyone looses sometimes and the main part of money management is never set yourself up to possibly loose more than you can afford to loose. Set aside a certain amount of money referred to as your bankroll. This is the amount of money you have to play with, win or lose. A bad practice many beginning betters do is go to one of the online betting sites and place there entire bankroll on one or two games. Wrong! This normally leads to people trying to chase there losses (trying to bet more in order to make up for the loss). The best way to manage your bankroll is to spread your money out on several smaller bets. This make it easy to show profit and if you loose, easier to break even.

Tip #2 – Checking Odds

What is the importance of checking odds? It relates to the main reason why people bet on sports. To make money! Odds can effect how much your payout will be. So I think it is a no brain er to try to get the odds in your favor. For beginners this may mean some negotiation with friends, or if your a little more advanced check the sports books for the best odds.

Tip #3 – Never Place Bets if You are Under the Influence

This may seem like a no brain er but tons of sports betters fail due to this all the time. After all, this is the reason Las Vegas gives you free drinks while you are gambling (because nobody makes bad choices while drinking). Lets just leave our sports betting for a time when you are thinking clearly and are focused to winning!

Follow sports betting advice and you will be on your way to following in the footsteps of the sports betting champ.
